Meet Brytnee

Hello! Thank you so much for stopping by. I am a 30-year-old trying to find my way in this world. I’m a bonus mom to the sweetest and most ornery seven-year-old boy who completely stole my heart right after his daddy.

I’m a not-so mysterious book worm who has a love for fiction, food, fitness and four-legged doggos. I am rarely found without a book in hand in some form, even if it’s just my Kindle on my phone. In the summer of 2013 I found myself working a desk job 40+ hours a week for the first time in my life and I felt sluggish and was not very pleased with my overall health. Originally, I started running and developed a serious love-hate relationship with the sport of fun runs. In the early spring of 2014 I fractured my hip while running a 10K, which completely set back my health improvements and drove the reality that I wasn’t as young as I once was and it was time to take my overall fitness seriously. I found myself drawn to working out at home, since going to the gym left me too exposed. As my strength increased so did my confidence and my desire to integrate a full-fitness routine into my daily life. I found a love of yoga, weight lifting and HIIT-style exercises (but I still loathed running and most cardio…not much has changed there, honestly.) Through my fitness journey I found I had an extremely unhealthy relationship with food. I used it as a means to solve my stress and bring me comfort when my emotions were overwhelming. I’m still battling this, but every day I find new ways to encourage myself to put the donut down and drink water instead (unless I’m treating myself to donuts that day.) As for the dogs, well I only recently became a mom to a two-legged child but I’ve had a fur-baby since before I graduated high school. Currently, I have four fur-children that I equal parts adore and abhor.

Beyond that, I’m a hard working career-woman in the insurance industry. I know I KNOW – everyone hates insurance. But I really try to bring some good to the world by writing workers’ compensation policies and trying to make sure employers and employees are taken care of when someone is injured on the job. I also have a business with as a health motivator through Team Beachbody, am a certified CORE DE FORCE instructor and am a certified Ultimate Portion Fix master coach.

Every day I strive to bring a little bit more light and happiness to my life and those around me. By finding my strength and confidence through coaching and being a fitness instructor I’m able to reach a broader audience than my wallflower self would ever have believed possible.
